As an English Jamaican, born in Yorkshire and raised in the U.K., I value my cultural heritage from the African Diaspora. I returned to England in the late 1990s after spending ten years living and working in Jamaica and five years in the Cayman Islands. My return was prompted by my heart's desire to train for the ministry in a denomination that was truly inclusive. Having been raised in the Anglican tradition and then in a pentecostal and evangelical church environment, I value a theology that is culturally satisfying.
